Bulk Messages
4 min
Introduction
Bulk Messages allow you to send communications at scale to multiple contacts through WhatsApp. This functionality is powerful but must be handled carefully to avoid bans and ensure high deliverability.
Wazzap supports Bulk Messages in combination with CRM integrations (e.g., Highlevel), which provide advanced features such as Drip Modeand Traffic Splitting.
Best Practices
- Always follow the Best Practices documentation to reduce risk.
- Use Spintax to keep messages varied.
- Add Delay Message to prevent sending bursts of messages.
- Respect WhatsApp’s usage policies — while some numbers can handle up to 3,000 messages per day, there are many factors that influence stability.
Number Warming
- For new numbers, follow the Number Warming Process before sending bulk campaigns.
- Start with low volumes and gradually scale.
- Warming is essential for building trust and minimizing the chance of bans.
Handling Bans
- If a number is banned, follow the Connecting After a Ban documentation.
- WhatsApp generally allows recovery after the first ban, provided you comply with current policies.
- We have never observed a case where a number was permanently lost after its first ban.
CRM Integrations (Highlevel Example)
- Select your contacts and add them into a Workflow.
- Use Drip Mode (Highlevel CRM Integration ) to distribute sending over time.
- Combine this with:
- Spintax
- Highlevel CRM Integration also provides Split Traffic, which divides contacts into separate groups (e.g., 500/500).
- In Wazzap, you can complement this with the Switch numbers to rotate numbers and spread the load.
Risk Disclaimer
- Bulk messaging is always at your own risk.
- Run simulations before launching campaigns.
- Scale gradually, monitor performance, and adapt based on results.
✅ By combining warming, best practices, and CRM features like drip mode and split traffic, you can run bulk campaigns more safely and with greater consistency.
