This integration allows you to connect Wazzap with **OpenAI** so text messages can be converted into WhatsApp voice notes using OpenAI’s Text-to-Speech models.

### Requirements

1. You must have an **OpenAI account**.
   - Sign up here: [https://platform.openai.com/signup](https://platform.openai.com/signup)
2. Generate an **API Key** from your OpenAI dashboard.
   - Manage keys here: [https://platform.openai.com/account/usage](https://platform.openai.com/account/usage)
3. Review the OpenAI TTS documentation.

4. **Add credits to your OpenAI account**.
   - It is recommended to add at least **$10 USD** to ensure smooth usage and avoid interruptions.
   - Without credits, the TTS service will not process requests.

### Connecting Wazzap to OpenAI

1. Go to your **Wazzap SubAccount Panel**.
2. Navigate to **Settings → General**.
3. Paste your **OpenAI API Key** in the corresponding field.

4. (Optional) Enable [Send Transcription](docId\:jOatBVmc9wEZy2BKqJTov)**  **if you want a text copy of each voice note.

5. Click **Save Voice** to confirm your integration.
6. A confirmation message will appear: **“OpenAI Voice successfully connected!”**
7. In Settings select the default voice for sending audios.

1. Click **Fetch voices** to load your available voices.
2. Select a **default voice** (e.g., *Dorothy (premade)*, *Shimmer*, or a custom voice ID).
3. Click **Save Voice** to confirm your integration.
4. A confirmation message will appear: **“ElevenLabs Voice successfully connected!”**

### Testing the Integration

1. From your CRM Conversations tab (e.g., HighLevel), send the following command: #voice|*Hello, how are you? *(Learn more about this command here: [Voice](docId:9BA32885jjMQp0TYUUWKF) )
2. Wazzap will process the text with **OpenAI TTS**.
3. The recipient will receive a WhatsApp **voice note** that says: *“Hello, how are you?”*

### Integration Complete

✅ Your Wazzap account is now integrated with **OpenAI Voice**.
 You can send natural-sounding voice notes automatically through WhatsApp, directly from your CRM.

### ⚠️ Important Notes

1. You must keep your **API Key active**; expired or deleted keys will break the integration.
2. Ensure your OpenAI account always has **sufficient balance** (minimum recommended: $10 USD).
3. OpenAI currently provides **standardized voices** — customization is limited compared to ElevenLabs.
4. All commands must be sent via the **CRM Conversations tab**, not the WhatsApp mobile app.
